John Hurt – Pancreatic Cancer


Sir John Hurt is one of the most famous English actors in the industry. He had an impressive list of film credits to his name and had been nominated countless times for his brilliant acting skills. His first-ever mainstream appearance was unforgettable in A Man for All Seasons back in 1966. He also appeared in 10 Rolling Place, which earned him a BAFTA nomination. Hurt was diagnosed with early-stage pancreatic cancer in 2015.

He was responding positively to his treatments that’s why he continued acting after he announced his illness in public. He passed away three days after his 77th birthday back in 2017.
