Michael Galeota – Cardiovascular Disease and Hypertension

Michael Galeota easily became a heartthrob after appearing in The Baby-Sitters Club back in the ’90s. Shortly after, he became part of the cast of Women & Men 2: In Love, There Are No Rules. He was among the rising young actors at that time and his career was going pretty well in the years after. His appearance on the comedy series The Jersey as Nick Lighter also helped launch his career further.

For some reason, his career turned downwards and he slowly backed off from the limelight. News broke that he was rushed to the hospital due to severe abdominal pains. Covered with medical insurance, his doctors had prescribed a set of treatments, which he refused. In January 2016, he passed away in his own home due to cardiovascular disease and hypertension.
