Harold Ramis – Autoimmune Complications
Harold Ramis was the original Ghostbusters co-writer, who started honing his skills in writing when he was getting his degree in college. At that time, he was writing for plays. He then started freelance writing for the Chicago Daily News, which led him to become a joke editor and reviewer for Playboy Magazine.
This launched his career even further, opening big opportunities such as co-writing Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, and Stripes. Ramis’ last movie was Year One, which was released in 2009. He acted, wrote, and produced this film. He passed away at the age of 69 in 2014. He had complications from his autoimmune ailment, which led to his passing.
