Michael Clarke Duncan – Heart Attack

Michael Clarke Duncan was a brilliant actor, who received a nomination from the Academy Awards for his outstanding performance in The Green Mile. Before he received this credit though, he was actually digging ditches to earn money.

Later on, he worked as a bodyguard for big-shot Hollywood celebrities such as Jamie Foxx, The Notorious B.I.G, and Will Smith. At this point, he decided to switch careers and give his hand at commercial acting. Similar to what he had done in real life, his roles were mainly bouncers in movies like A Night at the Roxbury and Bulworth. However, he got his big break by playing as John Coffey in the 1999 fantasy crime drama. The actor suffered a heart attack and died at the age of 54.
