Michelle Thomas – Stomach Cancer

Michelle Thomas was born into the entertainment industry from talented parents. Her father was a musician while her mother was a stage actress. She became popular for portraying the character of Justine Phillips in NBC’s The Cosby Show. She was also well-known for playing Myra Monkhouse in Family Matters. She relatively led a healthy lifestyle, following a vegan diet with no alcohol or nicotine.

Ironically, she was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 1997. We hope she had comprehensive medical insurance at that time since she had to undergo two surgeries. She eventually passed away a year later in 1998. She was just 30 years old at the time of her passing.
