Earl Hindman – Lung Cancer

Earl Hindman may not have a long list of film credits to his name but he had consistent appearances in film throughout his career. He appeared in movies like C.H.U.D., Silverado, and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three. He was part of the cast of the long-running ABC daytime drama Ryan’s Hope. He played the part of Bob Reid, a role that he appeared in for more than 450 episodes.

However, it was his next supporting role, which earned him far greater fame. Most of his fans would remember him as Wilson, a neighbor of Tim “The Toolman” Taylor in the successful series Home Improvement. He was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away in December 2003 at the age of 61.
