Richard Bonehill – Natural Causes

Richard Bonehill may not be a familiar face to many but his characters are very well known even up to this day. Star War fans would easily recognize the characters he had played throughout his career, specifically in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He did fill in a number of different background roles at first, including being a stormtrooper and rebel alliance soldier.

However, he managed to land a big acting credit in the franchise, playing as Nien Nunb. He was the co-pilot of Lando Calrissian in the Return of the Jedi. Sadly, he suddenly passed away in February 2015 at the age of 67. It wasn’t disclosed what the cause was but his death was ultimately ruled as having been from natural causes.
