Richard Harris – Hodgkin’s Disease


Richard Harris was one of the veteran actors of Hollywood. He graced the stage and screen with his brilliant acting skills. Throughout his career, he had an impressive list of film credits, recognitions and honors. When you thought he couldn’t get more popular, he starred in the Harry Potter film franchise.

He is well-known today as the beloved headmaster Albus Dumbledore in the first two movie installments of the franchise – The Sorcerer’s Stone and The Chamber of Secrets. However, he wasn’t able to continue anything further when he passed away on October 25 at the age of 72.
